This mark on packaging indicates that the package or dishware can be used for food, including long-term storage.
This mark signals that the packaging can be recycled
This mark provides the basis that specifies the material of the product. A relevant figure is specified inside the mark.
In case of plastic, a letter code can be used.

EAC (Eurasian Conformity) — is a single mark for product circulation on the Customs Union member-states’ markets.
A single mark indicates that the products marked have passed the conformity assessment (confirmation) procedures established in the technical regulations of the Customs Union and meet the requirements of all the applicable technical regulations of the Customs Union.
Certification of Quality Management Systems.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) — is an international organization that provides an international exchange of goods and services by developing standardization. ISO 9001 — is one of the most important standards for manufacturing.
By purchasing plant-manufactured products certified with the ISO 9001 quality management system, you can be sure that the products meet your needs and expectations and also comply with legal requirements.
Next to the STB sign, you can find the HACCP inscription. It is placed under the sign and is a part of it. This means that the products comply with this management system.
This means that the manufacturer did not use GMOs in food production, the GMO content of 0.9% and less in the food product is incidental or a technically unavoidable admixture, and this food product shall not be regarded as a food product containing GMO.
Adherence to this standard is not mandatory for the manufacturers of the Republic of Belarus. But since the manufacturer marked its packaging with the quality standard it certifies full compliance with all the STB requirements.
GOST — is a state industry standard developed for most types of foodstuff. This is a state-approved standard composed together by many different institutions, experts, departments.
This standard is not mandatory in the Republic of Belarus.
TU — means specifications. Standards for products developed by the company. It means that the products are manufactured according to these specifications.
For some products, GOSTs become obsolete, and new TUs are developed for the them to meet new trends in the production of a particular product.
Graphic information applied to the surface, marking or packaging of products to be scanned by technical means.
As a rule, the barcode contains the following information:
- 3 digits — stand for the code (prefix) of the GS1 Member National Organization (for example, 48 — Belarus);
- 6 digits — stand for the company registration number assigned by the National Organization;
- 3 digits — stand for the serial number of products within the company;
- • the last 13th digit — stands for the control number for checking the correctness of the barcode.
